Cellphones that enable you to connect your notebook or handheld at broadband speeds are appearing on the US market, having been out in Europe. You can get decent speeds if your area has EDGE GPRS which Cingular is rolling out. T-mobile is behind but plan to introduce the phones. At the moment the only way you could get decent >100 speed was with wireless cards such as the GC82 or 83, but the Nokia 6230 is one of first in the US to offer broadband where available. Theere are issues with XP service Pack 2 and no drivers available for Palm or Sony Clie to connect via Bluetooth to GPRS on the phone, we hope this willbe resolved soon
