I am working on an oby gyn module.
Is each practice different enought to be seperate or is a combined module ok for both.
Its easier to make it an all in one deal ..
But I am looking at which is better to have 2 seperatate modules and combo module of both..
So..
I am looking for the best practice from a clinical perspective
1. The patient
2. The Doctor
3. The practice
and in that order.

Dont worry about the software or how I will do it just which would be the best practice based on the conditions above ??

I would have them separate. For OB, there are things to track for preganancies and deliveries which are pretty specific.

Whereas gyn would focus more on well women issues, preventative care (paps) and oncology issues.

Being neither thats just my opinion.

Ozzie,

I have examples of our records for both Obstetrics care and for GYN well-woman visits.

As soon as I can get to the post office (probably will take a few days), you'll get them.
