let us know how it works out, I also use Acronis for about $40 to image the entire hard drive, saves havign to reinstall Windows, programs and all updates plus data files

I use the FREE Western Digital "Data Lifeguard Utility" to image a drive. Download it from here: http://www.techspot.com/drivers/driv...ormation/7479/

WD now uses an Acronis for WD software, but this one is a classic and will work on all versions of windows through XP.
